I just got back from London, and it was brought to my attention that people from the eastside of London are being called "DICKHEADS". After watching this clip it became obvious that this isn't the first time a name has been put to a style. It also reminded me that this isn't the first time a trend has been followed by a large group of people in London, only to become a huge success. In the late 70's and 80's Vivienne Westwood brought the punk movement to the U.K, by designing clothes and styling clothes differently which exploded into a massive continuous trend to follow. Even though she was laughed off a talk show in the 80's her clothes still represent the Punk movement, and even pieces of her recent collections can even relate to things DICKHEADS would wear today.
HOW TO BE A DICKHEAD:
ARE YOU A DICKHEAD??
