The Highs and the BLows of Paris fashion week

Paris fashion week is one of the highest anticipated events for the fashion year. Some designers proved to leave the buyers and editors happy, while others failed miserably and had them running for the doors. I believe some of the designs were fitting considering the economic situation everyone is in... has lead a lot of designers to be more CREATIVE... However it was obviously apparent in few designers, but not others... IT'S SIMPLE: MAKE THINGS WEARABLE!!! how hard is it???

Overall I think every designer this season was at least butchered at least once by a writer or critic, but its normal...

The bad review awards for the Paris shows goes to:

• Vivienne Westwood : for sending her models down the runway in their underwear with save the planet splashed all over the clothing.. Quoted in Saying, "Dress down to dress up by showing your flesh, eg ... ribbons of torn cloth, worn bikini-style," Westwood wrote in a leaflet handed out at the show and addressed to "all eco-warriors." Right...

Emanual Ungaro : Good god whoever appointed Lindsey Lohan a designer must of been drugged... by her possibly. Her trailer trash slutty chic was reflected on the runway and made all the editors run as fast as possible for the doors. like this:

Vicktor & Rolf: For taking the economic crisis littlery and shooting off holes cannon size in their dresses to show where they have been hit the hardest. Funny to look at, not so funny for the buyers..

Alothough all these these designers are amazing and talented there were few pieces from their collections that I actually liked and are wearable. But hell they were dam creative!
